Peter Lewis Paints’ eco-friendly products are made very differently to any other paints on the market, as all the pigments are sourced directly from quarries around the world and ground locally, using our traditional triple roller mill. This classical process makes our natural pigments unique, as their grain size is slightly larger than their synthetic alternatives. Ultimately, this makes our colours be impacted by shadows and light much more than any other paint due to their varying and non-uniform characteristics, allowing each colour to come alive in both interior and exterior settings.

We take great care in sourcing these luxurious natural pigments also to ensure all our products are completely sustainable and non-toxic. This, as well as our entirely plant-based natural resins, makes all of our paints and special finishes completely odourless, creating a safe and healthy breathing environment for all.

Along with our entirely environmentally friendly and ecological paints and special finishes, all of our cans, drums, and lids are completely recyclable, helping us complete the sustainable design cycle at the end of our product’s life.

In addition to our wide colour range, with 280 unique colours, Peter Lewis Paints can craft custom colours to match job requirements in all paints. This is a unique service that is available to all customers, and is offered in our flagship store, ‘The Workshop’, in Woollahra, Sydney.
